Security measures within Edu-Suite
- ISO 27001 AND ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
Edu-Suite is certified with the ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications. The ISO 27001 certification represents the internationally recognised standard for information security. The ISO 9001 certification implies that Edu-Suite has an excellent quality management system.
- ISO 27001 certified hosting
Hosting of the Edu-Suite platform is handled by our Amsterdam-based partner True. True is ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NEN 7510 certified and has ISAE 3402 Type 1 and 2 reports. Which means the information processes have been mapped out, appropriate security measures have been taken and are tested periodically.
- EVERY Edu-Suite APPLICATION has its own database
To prevent data accidentally ending up in another environment due to a technical error, we isolate all data per environment in its own database in a so-called tenant structure.
- IP restriction for administrators
Users with extra authorisations and with access to personal data can be secured with an additional IP verification at login.
- Layered authorisation structure
Within Edu-Suite, custom roles can be created where privileges can be individually activated or deactivated. Each person can have one or multiple profiles. This way, it is possible to limit someone having more rights than required to perform administration tasks.
- Encryption of personal data
Personal data have to stay personal. Therefore, we encrypt personal data in our databases and all upload files of our users wherever possible.
- SSL certificatE
Every environment is provided with an SSL certificate which encrypts all data between user and server.
- Audit & activity log
An audit & activity log can be consulted so certain activities of admins and users can be checked.
- 2-FA / IP whitelisting
Edu-Suite administration accounts of Edu-Suite employees are provided with 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) and, where necessary, only accessible through own network (VPN).
